Privately owned and operated since 1938, North Shore School has enjoyed an exceptional reputation for academic excellence. Our school provides a nourishing family atmosphere the keeps our students and teachers coming back each year. The North Shore School is an independent, co-educational, non-profit elementary educational institution with programs for pre-school through 8th grade. It is fully recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education.

The North Shore School is dedicated to the growth and development of each individual child in the areas of mental, physical, social, emotional, and moral development.

Hours
School doors open at 7AM. Classes begin at 8:15, with the pre-school program commencing at 9:00. Anticipating the needs of working parents, many supervised activities are planned after the 3:15PM conclusion of classes, with extended hours to 6.
